Starknet refers to the technology platform itself (an open-source, fast, scalable, fully-verifiable L2 network) as well as the ecosystem of apps and projects that build on this technology. Starknet Foundation is the non-profit that serves as the steward of the technology platform and ecosystem.

As the steward of all things Starknet, the Foundation works to create healthy, sustainable growth and development of the ecosystem as a whole through educational, go-to-market, and financial programs that support developers and founders on their journey to create sustainable businesses.

Starknet Foundation is committed to making building in Web3 accessible to everyone, regardless of if they are coming from another platform, or completely new to the field.
